Western Aerial Survey and Photographic Services is owned and operated by Dr Paul Naessens, a highly experienced archaeologist and landscape surveyor, based in Oughterard Co. Galway. The business has been established with the backing of Forum Connemara and the support of a number of high profile local business people and researchers from the National University of Ireland Galway. Paul studied archaeology at NUI Galway and the University of Glasgow and completed a PhD on the archaeology and history of Iarchonnacht (Connemara) in 2009.
